GNOUU held its annual poetry service at Community Church on June 24, 2012.  The service was well attended and poetry was read by members of all three GNOUU congregations.  The readings were a mix of poems by authors such as Mary Oliver and Langston Hughes, but many were authored by our members.  The subject matters ranged from sad to funny, serious to lighthearted.  We even had poems read in Russian, with translation provided.

It was a mix of emotions, tears and laughter.  A good time for sharing and getting to know more about each other.  We look forward to our next joint service – Hot Art in a Cool Space – which will be held at the North Shore Fellowship in Lacombe on August 5th.
